This simple tailored design is easy to make. The center of the valance has a separate flat, shaped underlay that pulls forward and attaches to the flat sections with buttons. Use the pointed underlay or the straight across version. The jabot is a flat-pointed tab that offers a return. The pointed horn attaches to the jabot separately. There are no pleats in this valance; therefore, bulk is not a problem.
