(2004) Sterling Valance

This elegant valance is quite simple to make (although it has a lot of seams). The pleats are tapered to be wide at the bottom and narrow enough at the top to be held by a small fabric tab or rings on a pole. It can also be installed to medallions instead of a pole. The valance has to be cut in separate pieces, which sew together to finish as one piece (including the jabots). The center section can be 14" wide or up to 24" wide. Your choice for the side sections is 7", 9", or 12" wide. The depth of the valance can be altered, but all pieces have to be altered to fit each other.
